The reason I selected 5 stars was in large part due to my interaction and support from Carlos C Flores, he was amazing!!! Carlos informed me to ask for him when I brought my car in and he would take care of me and he did just that! I've had pleasant engagement with service techs since I've start coming to this location after relocating to Maryland.

My family have been buying VW vehicles for decades because they are reliable and beautiful cars. From my mother's amazing Volkswagen "Thing" and Beetle in the 70's to my own 2021 Tiguan, I have felt happy, safe and stylish driving or riding in a Volkswagen. This message is not about anything negative regarding this vehicle. It's with the Ourisman service that I received last week. I went in for routine oil and filter change and a general inspection before traveling. I know they were busy at Ourisman's before the 4th of July holiday, but that is no excuse for charging me to rotate my tires but neglecting to do the work. If I had not recently replaced one tire during a recent vacation, I would not have caught them charging me and not doing the work. The service technician admitting to the advisor that he had not done the work, but telling me that he had measured the tires and lying about the work not being necessary but still charging me was over the top dishonest. I was told that the tires were not rotated because it was not necessary, but the other tires had at least 10,000 miles on them, and the new tire in the back had only about 500 miles on it. I wanted the new tire on the front because the car is front wheel drive. It made sense to rotate the tires, but the work was not done but they charged me. When I realized it after I got home (25 minutes drive away), I called them and told them about the problem. There was no apology, but they offered to refund me or give me a credit with them. I chose the refund because I don't really trust them anymore. They said I should come back two days later, so I did. I spoke with Marvin the manager, who made no apologies at all for my extra trip, but he gave me a refund for the service that was not done (tire rotation). I also asked for a car wash, which they said they did, but the car was still very dirty after they said they washed it. I doubt that they washed it at all. I also asked to check the two filters that were replace to make sure that they had done the work, and they had done it, which was comforting. My main complaints are dishonesty and a lack of an apology for my time. I will not return to that dealership even though I bought my car there. I do not trust them or feel that they care a bit about customer service.
