Our sale rep was very patient with us as we made this big decision. He didn’t make us feel rushed and allowed us to think through the different buying options. There were a few surprises in the end in terms of the lease final costs that I wish we knew initially, like “ad on” options that aren’t included in your initial quote that are very important to include up front so the buyer isn’t dealing with costly issues at the end of the lease. The quotes should include all the options up front with the sales rep, and not leave that to the loan processor after you feel you’ve agreed to a price. The rep also needs to have a deeper understanding of the technology and functions in the car so he can answer questions confidently about the car. When the answers are unknown, go get someone, not answer “I think…”.
